The Board of Directors of the Vieques Conservation and Historical Trust have announced the names of this year’s award winners of its Celebrating Vieques awards:
John Hix, Claritza Navarro and Gilda Pimentel.
The awards dinner will be held on Wednesday, February 6 2013, at 7 pm, at El Quenepo Restaurant in Esperanza, Vieques.
Donors: $125; Friends: $500 (also includes a pre-dinner cocktail reception at Trilogy, the home of Geoffrey Armstrong and Barbara Hyland at 5:30 pm to meet and congratulate the award winners.)

The 3-course dinner features a special Vieques insprired menu by chef Scott Cole and includes wine. Entree choices: beef, chicken, fish or vegetarian.
