VCHT runs two house tours each winter season, one in late January and another in early March.
These popular escorted tours give visitors an opportunity to see a variety of houses — some large and grand and some more modest, and some of historical or artistic interest — and an easy way to get to know a number of different barrios in the island. They often include a stop at a cultural or environmentally interesting site as well. Tour guides are VCHT volunteers who know the island well and can provide lots of background on the island.
The tours are a part of the Trust’s fundraising activities in support of our many conservation programs in the island.
Tours run from 9am to 1 pm and include transportation to the sites.
