MANTA Education Program
"Movimiento en Apoyo a Nuestros Tesoros Ambientales" Movement in Support of Our Environmental Treasures; that is what MANTA stands for, our reach-out program for kids aged 5 to 17. A hands-on educational and fun experience they will never forget. Main activities happen in the summer, but this is not just summer program; MANTA reaches all the Vieques schools throughout the school year.
Scholarship Program
The VCHT Scholarship Program has been assisting deserving Viequense students with their higher education expenses since 2005. Currently there are 15 scholarship holders, Since its creation the Program has benefited almost 60 students. They study such diverse subjects as microbiology, molecular sciences, music, aerospace engineering, civil engineering and journalism, among others.
